Jammy Whipped Goat Cheese

Whipped goat cheese is a delightfully creamy and tangy spread that pairs beautifully with a fruity jam to create a warm-weather treat. This easy-to-make appetizer is perfect for entertaining or simply treating yourself to a delicious snack. This kit is made entirely with ingredients from my Platterful subscription box.   • 10 oz log of goat cheese
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 2-3 tbsp honey
  • Fruit flavored jam (we used strawberry basil jam)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • Bread or crackers for serving


  1. Prepare the Whipped Goat Cheese:

    • In a mixer or food processor, combine the goat cheese, cream cheese, honey, salt, and pepper.
    • Whip the mixture until smooth and creamy.
  2. Transfer to Serving Bowl:

    • Spoon the whipped cheese mixture into a serving bowl, creating a smooth surface.
  3. Layer the Toasted Baguette:

    • Slice a baguette into thin rounds and toast them until lightly golden.
    • Spread a generous layer of the whipped goat cheese onto each toasted baguette round.
  4. Add Strawberry Basil Jam:

    • Spoon a dollop of strawberry basil jam onto the whipped cheese layer on each baguette round.
  5. Garnish and Serve:

    • Garnish each piece with fresh strawberry (or other fruit) slices and basil for a pop of color and flavor.
    • Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt over the top to enhance the flavors.


  • Make sure to use softened cream cheese for easier blending with the goat cheese.
  • Adjust the amount of honey according to your desired level of sweetness.
